Our History
The Cemetery
Tucked beside the restored chapel and former convent gardens, the on-site cemetery at Visitation Hotel holds the graves of nearly 100 Visitation Sisters. Protected by a deed easement, this sacred ground offers more than historical interest—it serves as a lasting tribute to the Sisters’ legacy of education, faith, and compassionate service, including their care for the wounded during the Civil War.
